Camila Cabello has had no trouble taking the pop world by storm, so she has set her sights on the film industry next.
And she has landed her first starring role.
It’s a reimagining of the classic fairytale Cinderella, dreamed up by none other than James Corden, but it won’t be "Disneyesque."
Details are being kept under wraps, but here’s what we know:
It will be a musical comedy and Camila will be directly involved with its songs from writing to recording.
The only thing they will say regarding the story is that it’s about "an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow."
Lastly, they have announced a release date, but you’ll have to be patient...Because Camila’s film debut won’t see theaters until February 5th of 2021.
