One of Avicii's Biggest Dreams is Coming True

One of Avicii's dreams when he was still alive was to see his music brought to life with an orchestral band and though he may be gone, that dream is coming true.

A tribute concert to the late DJ and producer will take place in his native Stockholm with a 30-piece band playing his music. But even that, might not be the most remarkable part.

Nineteen of the artists who sang on several of his biggest hits will be there to perform their original songs. Aloe Blacc, who sang on “Wake Me Up," along with Adam Lambert, Rita Ora and more.

To top it off, several of his DJ friends will play opening sets including David Guetta, Kygo and even Avicii’s hero, Laidback Luke.

All proceeds will go to organizations addressing mental health and suicide prevention through his family’s Tim Bergling Foundation, which is Avicii’s real name.

The Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness takes place December 5th, but tickets are on sale as of today.
