Summer is travel season! If you're planning a vacation soon and have a long flight coming up, there may be a cure for jet lag.

Ryan Seacrest shared on-air the one thing you could eat to counter the effects of jet lag. Qantas Airlines did a study on its effects after a long flight. They are introducing a 20-hour direct flight from Sydney, Australia to New York in 2025. To prepare for this, they experimented with different foods to see what is best to counter the jet lag effects after a long flight.

They found out that this was the food that works best:

CHOCOLATE

In their study, they found that travelers who ate chocolate while in the plane during their flight would experience less severe jet lag and better cognitive performance in the days after.

Will you eat chocolate on your next long flight? Might be worth it so you can enjoy your vacation in real time!
