Mario Lopez Shares the Story Behind Nickname 'Pájaro' for Ryan Seacrest

Did you know Mario Lopez and Ryan Seacrest used to live in the same apartment complex in Burbank? The two hosts first met when Seacrest got his first digs in Los Angeles near Hollywood Blvd.

"Pájaro! Bird! How are you, buddy?" Mario shared on-air, revealing his nickname for Seacrest from back in the day. "It was 'Seacrest' and somehow it transitioned to 'sea bird' then it went to just 'bird' and then I made him bilingual."

The apartment complex was home to a bevy of aspiring stars at the time, including actress Tara Reid!

The Blank Slate host has since added a bevy of credits to his resume and yes, that's him you see sometimes when you check into your hotel room.

"It's so funny the different stuff that I do for some reason that gets the most traction," Lopez told Seacrest. "Like the most random people will come up and tell me like I had Clint Eastwood, Oprah. ... My favorite story was I had Charlie Sheen say, 'Dude I was so high one time for three days straight I didn't change the channel I just saw you.'"
