Two-Time Cancer Survivor & TikToker @Alex1Leg Shares Inspiring Story

Meet Alex Parra. The two-time cancer survivor joined Ryan Seacrest on-air to share his inspiring story millions have been following on TikTok via his profile @alex1leg

Alex shared with Seacrest he was first diagnosed with cancer when he was just 15.

"You're whole world sort of just stops," Alex reflected on being told he had terminal cancer with a 10% shot. "What am I supposed to do if that is my life?"

Alex is thankfully now cancer free, but after suffering a third scare in 2023, he realized it was time to start crossing off the bucket list he'd made.

"When you're told you have 3 months left to live ... you kind of want to do all these things ... so I made this list of things I was never going to accomplish ... that I'd dream of. ... Small stuff or big stuff. It didn't matter. It was things I wanted to do out of the hospital."

Since then, he's shared inspiring trips on TikTok to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and even competing in the San Francisco marathon on crutches to raise awareness for the cost of prosthetics.
