Micaela McCall's journey as an artist is just beginning. The 28-year-old voice and piano teacher now living in Santa Barbara wowed judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan with an unexpected reimagining of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)" during the season 22 American Idol premiere last Sunday.
McCall shared with Ryan Seacrest on-air the Idol experience has already helped her when it comes to establishing herself as an artist.
"It's helped me grow a fan base so I can share my original songs finally," the music teacher shared, revealing the experience has been a dream come true.
