Based on David Nicholls' novel by the same title, One Day features friends Dexter Mayhew (Leo Woodall) and Emma Morley (Ambika Mod) who meet on the same day—15 July, St. Swithin's day—over 20 years. After their graduation, Dexter and Emma spend a platonic night together and agree to "just be friends" and we won't spoil the rest.
The internet is obsessing over the show and the hunky actor which led his real-life girlfriend and former White Lotus costar Fahy to "hard launch" their relationship.
The actress posted a picture of them together with a series of emojis. Fans commented on the pics things like "Oh she really said ‘Dex is mine'" and "She saw us thirsting after him and had to set the record straight."
