Did you know your coffee mug color might be affecting the taste of your coffee? Ryan Seacrest shared in today's hack the colors pink, white and green can alter your coffee taste buds.
The findings come from a viral Food & Wine article which shares studies on the associations between color and taste reveal that people tend to link certain colors with certain flavors. For example, red is usually connected with sweetness, while green is considered more sour.
So, when it comes to coffee mugs:
· PINK makes your coffee taste sweeter.
· WHITE makes your coffee taste more intense.
· GREEN makes your coffee taste more complex and sour.
And, the rounder the cup makes it taste sweeter as well!
