Kelly Clarkson apologizes to fans over album delay
The singer finished the album in December, but it wont be out until September
Kelly Clarkson has issued an apology to her fans after announcing her highly-anticipated next album wont be out until September.
The singer has been busy working on her fifth studio album, the follow-up to 2009s All I Ever Wanted, and finished the songs in December.
But Clarksons fans will have to wait a little longer to hear her new material after label bosses at RCA Records told the singer September would be the best month to launch the record.
In a post on her Facebook.com page, she writes, "I recently found out that my album wont be coming out until September... the album has been recorded but I cant release it until then.
"I realize that is a long time but thats the best time to release it apparently so Im sorry for the wait but I promise you it sounds great!"
