From one teen idol to another. Nick Jonas shows One Direction how it’s done by putting his own spin on one of their songs while in-between Broadway shows in New York City. The youngest Jonas Brother delighted fans with an acoustic performance outside of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, but they didn’t expect this! Watch their reaction below.
“You guys want to hear a cover of something?” he asks the enthusiastic crowd before launching in to the now iconic rift of “What Makes You Beautiful” on the guitar. Though the performance lasted less than a minute before Jonas switched to Bruno Mars‘s “Just The Way You Are,” the video has already made waves on the Internet among “Directioners” across the country. The cover begins 45 seconds into the clip.
